Introduction to contraceptive methods

There are a number of different methods of contraception, including condoms, injections, implants, coils, pills, and patches. They all have different advantages and disadvantages, and are described in more detail in the following chapters. Most methods are safe options for most people, but some may not be suitable, for example in people with some medical conditions. A doctor or nurse will go through all the things that are suitable.
