Asthma

In this section you can find out about the experiences of having asthma by seeing and hearing people share their personal stories on film. Researchers travelled all around the UK to talk to 37 people in their own homes. About five million people in the UK have asthma, a condition that affects the airways (the tubes carry air in and out of the lungs). People with asthma have sensitive airways which become irritated in some situations, making it more difficult to breathe.
