Susan Kirkpatrick

Susan was appointed as a Senior Researcher at the Health Experiences Research Group in 2010. She has a background in Sociology. She has conducted three studies for the website and was the lead researcher for this study on experiences of Asthma.

Anne-Marie Boylan

Anne-Marie is a Research Fellow in the Health Experiences Research Group. She obtained her PhD in psychology from Queen’s University Belfast. Her research interests include patient and public involvement, experiences of acquired disability and using online feedback to improve health services and policy. Anne-Marie conducted some of the interviews for this project.

Abi Eccles

Abi joined HERG as a research assistant in July 2010 and is now studying for a DPhil in Primary Care funded by the NIHR School for Primary Care Research (NSPCR). Her research explores Multiple Sclerosis, patient-doctor interaction and decisional support needs. Before joining HERG, Abi completed her BSc reading Sociology and Anthropology at Oxford Brookes University.
