Interview 07: I noticed that my testicles were of different sizes. I don't know whether they had always been like that or if I just suddenly noticed, but, you know, hearing things on the television and reading in the newspaper about potential problems in that area, that started to concern me somewhat.

Interview 19: I first sort of realized that actually sort of my worst fears had been confirmed. I was a complete mess, quite frankly. I've, I've never felt such a strong fear in my entire life. So far as I was concerned, I was going to die.

Interview 08: The long term effect now is that life is for living and stuff the rest… just bills and mortgages and everything else like that can, they can ‘whistle Dixie’ for it because you're out to live now. It changes your perspective that way. If I get this sack tomorrow, I get the sack tomorrow. I'm not bothered. I don't care anymore as long as I'm alive. But it might be raining today but at least I'm alive and seeing the rain. I could have been dead so that's one major effect that it's had on me, I think.

Interview 24: Don't despair keep-, keep cheerful if you can, look on the bright side because there are more brighter sights than downsides. And just find a buddy just find somebody that you can talk to.
