Feeding a baby while living with HIV

Amy is in a long-term relationship and has two children, a 12 year old child, and a one-year-old baby. She has taken a period out of work due to health reasons.

Danai is married and migrated to the UK with her husband in 2019 from Southern Africa. Her older children are 13 and 12 years old, and she has twin babies who are five months old.

Pauline is married and lives with her parents. She and her husband are of Black African heritage and they have an eight-month-old baby.

Puleng is of Black African origin and lives with her husband and their two children, a four-year-old child and an 11-month-old baby.

Veronica is Black African and lives in Scotland. She is married and has four children aged 15 (stepchild), 8, 1 year old and 3 months.

LeaSuwanna is of Black Caribbean descent and is a trainee nurse and HIV activist. She has two children, 24 and 17 years old, and is currently pregnant.

Joyce is in a relationship and she has three children aged 5 and 3 years-old, and a 3 week old baby.

Nozipho is Black African and came to the UK from Southern Africa when she was 17 years old. She is engaged and has an 11-month-old baby.

Holly is White British and is seven months pregnant with their first child. She lives with her partner, Stephen (also interviewed).

Biola is Black African and has a partner and five children, aged 20, 10, 5 and 3 years old and an eight-month-old baby.

Maria is British Asian, married and has a 16-month-old child.
