Alison Chapple
Is a medical sociologist. She has been involved in various research projects since obtaining her MA in Health Research in 1994 and her PhD from the Department of Primary Health Care, University of Manchester, in 1997. She worked at the University of Oxford from 2000 as a Senior Research Fellow and Research Lecturer until her retirement in 2017.
Audrey Chamberlain
Conducted the majority of the interviews on Living with Dying. Awarded a PhD by the Dept of Sociology Univ. of Leeds 1976. Before this project, she worked in adult education community development & research, on experiences of health, illness, care & services.
