Breast Screening

Overview

In this section you can find out about women’s experiences of breast screening by seeing and hearing people share their personal stories on film. In 2004/5 a researcher travelled all around the UK to talk to 40 women in their own homes. The site was updated with a further 8 new interviews in 2008. Find out what people said about issues such as deciding to attend screening, the procedure and getting results. We hope you find the information helpful and reassuring.
