Main Researcher: Jane Carter
Has a degree in Ergonomics from Loughborough University. Worked in consultancy before joining the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in 1993, conducted various rheumatology & rehabilitation research projects. Part-time R & D Manager in 1997.
In 2009 Jane analysed and added 8 new interviews and updated the site as part of the ongoing updating programme.

Maria Salinas
Senior Qualitative Researcher, is a social anthropologist. She has worked in health research, refugee studies and gender relations in the academic and voluntary sectors for the last ten years. She obtained her D.Phil from the University of Oxford in 2000.
In 2012 Maria analysed and added 6 new interviews and updated the site as part of the ongoing updating programme.
