Diabetes UK
Diabetes UK is the largest organisation in the UK representing people with diabetes. It work is divided into three main areas: funding research, campaigning and helping people live with the condition.
Children with Diabetes
This is a wide-range and up to date website. It looks at all matters relating to insulin dependent diabetes. This is a US website but you can join the UK mailing list through it.
Insulin Pumpers
This UK site is part of an international charity promoting the knowledge and use of insulin pump therapy to treat diabetes. It also has a discussion group and it is run by volunteers. The Insulin Pumpers organisation also has a USA and a Canadian website.
Insulin Dependent Diabetes Trust
www.iddt.org
A organisation run by people living with diabetes. This site provides information for people with diabetes in a non-medical language and offer support to partners and parents. This group has campaigned for the continue supply of pork insulin to the UK market.
