Danny - Interview 40

Danny, aged 13, lives with his parents and sister and attends a local school. Danny was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of four and recently took part in a randomised trial on the management of diabetes in young people.

Ethan - Interview 60

Ethan is aged 12, lives with his parents and his sister at home. He attends a local school and enjoys going to ju jitsu. Ethan was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 11 and very soon after his parents were approached and invited to enrol Ethan in a clinical trial.

Hannah - Interview 43

Hannah is 17 years of age, is White British, goes to a local high school, and lives at home with her parents. Hannah was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of four years.

Jhon - Interview 02

Jhon, aged 13 is White British, lives with his parents and attends Secondary School. He enjoys 'making a difference', swimming, reading and being with friends. Jhon was diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta in the womb.

Joe - Interview 46

Joe aged 15 is White British and lives at home with his parents and siblings. Joe attends a local school and enjoys football and going out with friends. He was diagnosed with diabetes one year ago.

Lauren - Interview 64

Lauren is aged 16, White British and lives with her parents and sibling at home. Lauren attends a local high school and was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 13.

Robert - Interview 26

Robert, aged 22, was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis soon after birth. He recently graduated from the University of Oxford in Mathematics and Statistics and would like a career in Medical Statistics. He starts work as a Maths teacher very soon.

Saskia - Interview 30

Saskia is aged 13, goes to school and lives with her parents. Saskia was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 11 years.

Sophie - Interview 06

Sophie is 23 years of age, lives with her parents and describes herself as White British. Sophie was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at the age of eight years. Sophie works full time in Education. She is also ambassador for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Sophie - Interview 44

Sophie aged 12 is White British and lives at home with her parents and siblings. She attends a local school and enjoys Art and cleaning her bedroom. Sophie was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of 3 years.

Stephanie - Interview 59

Stephanie aged 18, of mixed ethnic origin; Greek-English, is a student, and lives with her parents and sibling at home. At the age of 15 Stephanie was diagnosed with Wegener's granulomatosis that causes inflammation of the small and medium blood vessels.
